Below are the MPB concession item and work lists for this week's football game (08-26-16).  If there are still open slots for work you may contact Mr. Escamilla at 876-9393 Ext. 4109 to sign up.  If not, there are still three home games left. In addition, if you would like to sign up to bring an item, please contact Mr. Escamilla at the above-mentioned telephone number.  Your child gets credit for item donation as well as parent/guardian working concession.

MPB Parents Turn Out to Help Ready Concession Stand for New Season

A wonderful batch of MPB parents, very willing and eager to help, turned out on Wednesday evening to help clean and get the home concession stand ready for business.  Parents unloaded cases of soft drinks and water, they washed and scrubbed the floors, they threw away old items, they arranged furniture, and made sure all appliances and supplies are in their proper place so everything will be ready for when they open for business at the first home football game against Dilley on Friday. The turn out is a true testament to the commitment of these MPB parents to support the band students.  It was not all work, however; there were plenty of laughs and camaraderie amongst the parents.  A huge thanks goes out to the wonderful MPB family members that worked so hard that evening:  Sonia Navarro,  Jesse and Deanna  Esquivel, Pamela E. We still need many items so that our first home concession fundraiser will be successful.  We have workers signed up but we still need several items, especially since it is the home concession.  If you have not signed up to donate items, please call Mr. Escamilla at 876-8427.  Thank you for your support.  Go MPB!

Welcome!

Welcome to a new school-year and another year of what will surely be more awesome MPB performances.  As you may already know this year is a state year and the directors, band members, and parents are really excited -we are a tight knit MPB family. We want to welcome the veterans back and would like to especially welcome the freshman and their parents to the fold.  The MPB Boosters would like to ask for your help in making this one of the best years yet.  If you would like to become an integral part of the MPB family, please attend the booster meetings, help out at fundraisers, and check for updates on this site for the latest news.
