MPB Boosters Present Gift to Cotulla Band Boosters

Thanks to Aimee Laliberte for providing the wonderful gift basket to present to the Cotulla Band Boosters.

MPB Boosters Host Tiger Band Boosters

As they do for every football game, the MPB Boosters exchanged goodwill and a token of appreciation with the Tiger Band Boosters. Thank you to Maria Elena Briseno, Mary Lou Garza, and Monica Castillo for providing the gift.

MPB Boosters Start New Season With Old Tradition

The MPB Boosters are energized and ready to assist the MPB and directors with the new season. The MPB parents/boosters came together to organize and work the home concession stand. Thanks to all parents, guardians, boosters for helping with the first football game.

Not only did the boosters run a great concession stand, but they also continue the tradition of good will by exchanging gifts with the other band boosters throughout the State of Texas. A special thank you goes to Lori Martinez for donating the gift for the good will exchange.

MPB Hot Dog Night Is a Great Success!

On Thursday, August 23, the Mean Purple Band was treated to delicious hot dogs, chips, drinks, and desserts courtesy of Purple Reign Sports and the MPB Boosters. This particular Thursday marked the last summer practice before the beginning of the school year. Everyone had a wonderful time and a lot of fun (see photos below).

Thank you so much to the MPB and directors for working so hard during the summer in order to get a head start on this state year!

Much thanks goes to Mr. Adan Sanchez, Hector Navarro, Sam Castro and Lupe Martinez and the rest of the Purple Reign Sports members for their contribution to our band. In addition, thank you to Commissioner Rubalcava and Constable Ruth Ceniceros for their donations.

MPB Parents and Boosters Hold First Meeting of 2018-19 Season

WELCOME BACK AWESOME MPB, DIRECTORS, BOOSTERS, AND PARENTS!

IT'S A STATE YEAR! YAY!

On Monday, August 20, the Mean Purple Band Parents and Boosters held their first meeting of the 2018-19 season. Many topics including concession stand work and sign-up, fun activities planned for the year as well as duties, responsibilities, and overall pride and spirit of the MPB and parents. Thank you to all the awesome parents who took the time to attend this meeting--You Rock!
