Boosters Work Last Home Game Concession

The last home game (Wildcats vs Poteet) was the last concession stand for the boosters.  They will focus on other types of fundraisers for the rest of the year.  As always, the boosters did a wonderful job of working concession and made everything went smoothly.  Thank you to all boosters and parents who have helped by donating items and/or working at concession.  MPB and directors truly appreciate your efforts.

MPB Trunk or Treat Host Special Guests: Varsity Wildcats

The MPB Boosters, as they did last year, hosted a "Trunk or Treat" for the band members.  In a token of solidarity and reciprocity, the MPB invited as special guests the Varsity Wildcat Football Team to join in the festivities.  The Wildcats showed their kindness back in August by surprising the members of the MPB with cool popsicles which were very welcome by the MPB, especially after practicing in the hot August sun--this was a way of the MPB saying "thank you" and that they appreciated the kindness of the football players. Onlookers were very pleasantly impressed at the sight of athletics and fine arts coming together to have fun.  "It is a wonderful thing to see that although each organization has its own goals and competition, they realize that they are all on one team--they are all Wildcats," said a member of the MPB Boosters.

MPB Boosters Keep on Giving

The tradition of MPB Booster kindness continues as boosters exchange provide gift baskets for visiting band boosters as well as out-of-town band booster organizations.  This past week Mrs. Yolanda Acosta and Mrs. Priscilla Wilson took time during the game to present the Pirate Band Boosters with a wonderful basket of goodies.  Thank you to Mrs. Acosta for providing the gift basket for this week--it is truly appreciated by all.
