Congratulations to the MPB for winning second place at the MCB
Cowboy Round-Up Marching Contest in Cotulla—the band also won “Best Wood Winds”
award. The MPB also won 4th place overall at the Drums Along the
Medina Marching Contest in San Antonio behind 5A and 6A bands from O’Connor
H.S., Del Rio H.S., and Eagle Pass H.S.
Thanks to all who traveled to the contests to support the band.
Good luck to the MPB on October 8 as they are scheduled to
compete in two contests in San Antonio.
The first contest will be The Judson Rocket Review. This performance
will be at 10:30 a.m. at Rutledge Stadium, 900 S Seguin Rd, Converse, TX 78109. After this contest the band will compete at
the Harlendale Marching Festival at 2:50 p.m. which will take place at Memorial
Stadium, 4002 Roosevelt Ave San Antonio, TX 78214. Fans are urged to arrive at least one hour
before performance time.
